I know firsthand how sad and stressful the Christmas Holiday can be after losing loved ones.
My father passed away last June (18 months ago) and there’s been a huge void in our family. I tell you, my father loved Christmas!
Since last year was the first Christmas without my father. I was told it’s a good idea to create new holiday memories after losing a loved one.
So we traveled to Florida last Christmas and created new holiday memories
It was actually a great decision and this is How I survived last Christmas! We played tennis outdoors on Christmas Eve at our Orlando resort and drove to Tampa the following day to celebrate Christmas with loved ones.

So this Christmas Holiday, I’m encouraging others to learn ways to cope with grief during the holiday.

This Christmas Holiday I plan to create new memories while preparing and eating some of my father’s favorite dishes.
Remember Jesus is the Reason for the Season. Luke 2:11, NIV: “Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”
