I am a flexitarian who consumes meat 25-50% of the time. Learn about a vegetarian and flexitarian lifestyle.
My Meatless Days are usually Meatless Monday, Without Meat Wednesday and Meat Free Friday.
Yesterday on Without Meat Wednesday, I prepared a tasty peanut butter and jelly (PB&J) sandwich for lunch. I buy peanut butter because it is a good source of protein, and a great snack.
As a child, I enjoyed eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. PB&J sandwiches are so easy to make, you only need three ingredients: peanut butter, jelly or jam and two slices of bread.
I prefer using creamy peanut butter, grape jelly and 100% whole wheat bread.
First, I spread my creamy peanut butter on one slice of bread and my grape jelly on the other slice of bread. Next, I put the two slices of bread together with the peanut butter and jelly inside. Then, I cut the sandwich in half and I am ready to eat.
