My Godbrother Navy Veteran Patrick Jones is truly an inspiration! On October 8, 2019, I published his article Navy Veteran Patrick Jones speaks after an accident left him in a wheelchair: He keeps the faith and believes he will run again in the Crim Festival of Races
I knew his story would resonate with many and inspire others, but I had no idea it would receive so many views! We are still overwhelmed by the number of views his article received.
Here are some of the comments he received from readers. It was uplifting and inspiring! I needed that during this time! Thank you for the inspiring story! This is a nice human interest true story!
Several weeks ago, I told Patrick (Pat) I have an idea on how he could thank everyone for their outpouring of love, encouraging words, prayers, etc. I also mentioned to Pat, I know everyone would love hearing your voice.
Pat is truly thankful, please listen as he thanks everyone!

He continues with his daily physical therapy (PT) and occupational therapy (OT). He makes homemade desserts every Sunday as part of his OT to improve his upper strength.
Since I was asked by so many people to keep them updated on his progress. I will write and share Patrick’s progress and show his homemade desserts on his birthday June 8, 2020. Please read his next article this Monday, June 8, 2020.
